| Our mission | Konrad Associates International contributes to the improvement of the quality and effectiveness of vocational qualifications through modernisation of the qualifications and competencies of Teachers and Trainers and the development of accessible approaches to the Recognition of Prior Learning. |
| Our clients | European Union Agencies, Government Ministries, Skill standards agencies. |
| Our projects | We have worked with National and European projects since 1997. Our main areas of work are: The Qualifications and Credit Framework [QCF] is a new framework for recognising and accrediting qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The framework is at the heart of a major reform of the vocational qualifications system designed to make the whole system simpler to understand and use and more inclusive. The intention is to make both the system and the qualifications offered far more relevant to the needs of employers and more flexible and accessible for learners. Guidance documents have been developed to provide a clearer understanding of the technical features of the framework and are available from the Qualifications and Curriculum Agency [QCA]. They have been revised in light of feedback from the tests and trials. Currently we are working on the following projects: Piloting National and European Guidelines designed to encourage the take-up of the Recognition of Prior Learning Outcomes [RPLO] (2008-2010) - Project Coordinator European Observatory on the Validation of Non-formal and Informal Learning [OBSERVAL] a Leonardo da Vinci Network coordinated by the European Universities Continuing Education Network [EUCEN] (2007-2010) Valuing Older Trainers As Lifelong Learners [VOTE-ALL] coordinated by Balear de Desarrollo y Formación, SL [BDF] (2007-2009) |
